So in this 12th challenge, i need to post about a TV show i like. Honestly, i don’t have any local tv show i like. But lately, i love the new Indonesian TV station called Net TV. That TV station has so many nice show. I also like to downloads foreign TV shows (mostly Japanese one). I dont include my TV series favorite because it will be a lot to write. So here is the list:
1. Music Everywhere (Net TV, Indonesia)
A nice music show since Mtv stopped showing “music”. This show is about one guest each episode. The guest can be a soloist, vocal group or band. The athmosphere of the show is quite nice, enjoyable, and friendly. It just like the guests is in their own home singing and joking around.
2. The Comment (Net TV, Indonesia)
There is a trend to play a youtube video as a show’s theme in Indonesia. Most of them is likely and i dont feel like i would love one specifically. But everything changes, when The Comment attacks. This show is funny and refreshing and the hosts are absurdly good.
3. Runningman (SBS, South Korea)
Running Man (Korean: 런닝맨) is a South Korean variety show, a part of SBS’s Good Sunday lineup, along with K-pop Star. It was first aired on July 11, 2010. This show was classified as an “urban action variety”, a never-before-seen new genre of variety shows focused in an urban environment. The MCs and guests complete missions in a landmark to win the race. The show has since shifted to a more familiar reality-variety show concept focused on games. It has garnered attention as being the come-back program for Yoo Jae-suk, the main MC of the program, after leaving Good Sunday’s Family Outing in February 2010.
I love this show and download the new episode every week. I even join the fanbase community called Malang Runners (@malangrunners). The games are incredible and the casts (called runningman) are funny. This show always made me laughing so hard.
4. Game Center CX (Fuji TV, Japan)
GameCenter CX (ゲームセンターCX Gēmu Sentā Shī Ekkusu?), also known as Retro Game Master in other regions, is a Japanese television program where Shinya Arino, a member of comedy duo Yoiko, plays home console video games from previous decades and usually attempts to get the game’s ending within a single day. He is supported by the show’s assistant directors (referred to as ADs) and sometimes other staff, both via moral support and actual gameplay. He also is featured in segments interspersed throughout the episodes where he goes to local arcade centers, as well as segments where he does a variety of things, such as interviews with game designers, showcasing classic console hardware or games, or a made up game show where the staff participate. The show has been on-air since November 4, 2003 with a new episode every 2 weeks when a season is running. There are currently 10 DVD sets released in Japan. In 2008 Fuji TV was looking for international distributors for subtitled DVDs. A movie is currently planned for the 10th year anniversary of the show. A third handheld video game has been announced to be on the Nintendo 3DS.
What so good about watching people playing game? i dont know but this show is airing for more than 10 years now in Japan. Well, i enjoy the show and the game knowledge i got.
